Although they really just wanted to run away and join the circus, Karen Nasuti and Woody Hinkle did the next best thing. They started an ad agency.

Actually, Karen started in the creative department of an ad agency, migrated to the client side and then went back to the agency life, this time as an account executive. This all-sides-of-the-tracks career path gives her a unique perspective on strategy, advertising, creative thinking and client service. That’s probably why she directs the agency’s account service and new business.

The day creative director Woody got a good grade for a high-school book report on a book that didn’t exist was the day he understood there was a living to be had by writing. In his previous lives, he worked as a newspaper reporter and in-house PR/advertising manager. Then he realized that all the really interesting people in his life were involved in advertising. 

Somewhere along the line, long ago in a land not too far from here, the two of them recognized that “advertising” is only part of the equation. So they re-shaped Nasuti & Hinkle into Nasuti + Hinkle Creative Thinking. They can work individually or as a team as brand strategists.

They are very good at answering the “how can you work together and stay married?” question.
